Delivery – General

We deliver throughout the UK and Europe.

Delivery of 15 items or more is free throughout mainland UK. Deliveries of less than 15 items may incur a small charge. Though, we do try to keep this to a minimum.

Smaller deliveries are made by our team in ETB vehicles. Though, some large deliveries may be entrusted to haulage firms. These are always firms that we have had long standing relationships with.

During delivery all furniture is blanket wrapped. This makes sure furniture arrives in good condition. But, more than this, we choose blankets to avoid plastic wrapping which damages the environment.

Most furniture is delivered pre-assembled. With the exception of items such as beds and lockers. These furniture items are delivered in large parts. All measurements of furniture can be found on our website. Alternatively, you can ask a member of our team during the ordering process.

All of our furniture is designed to fit through average doorways. If you know your premises has smaller or awkward features, let us know as soon as possible. These features may include doorways, staircases, ceiling heights. Make sure to measure rooms and routes to rooms before placing an order. If a premises is small or awkward, it isn’t a problem. Simply let us know and we will adjust furniture so it will fit. This will be done free of charge.

It is a customers responsibility to measure a space. Including the room where the furniture will be installed. If you have opted for our bespoke design service, a member of our team will visit the site to take measurements. Otherwise, please make sure the route through the establishment is clear with enough space. Should we have to exchange the goods or make adjustments after delivery, this will incur a charge.

Timescales & Scheduling

We do hold some stock of standard catalogue items. These items can be delivered quickly. Though, most furniture orders are manufactured to order. Especially bespoke items. So delivery timescales will vary. Large orders or complex furniture items may have a longer lead time.

Spare parts and smaller items will be sent via courier. This is usually sent either through Royal Mail or another approved courier service.

We try to give 7 days notice before the arrival of your furniture. All deliveries take place Monday – Friday between 8am and 6pm. Deliveries will be scheduled once items have been manufactured and checked for defects.

Distribution & Assembly

We understand customers may want their own maintenance team to install their furniture. For this reason, our delivery service is typically operated by one driver. He or she will deliver the items to the back of the van. Our beds are straight forward to assemble. But, on request, we can provide you with an instruction sheet.

A distribution and assembly service is available to all customers on request. Furniture will be fitted by our own craftsmen and joiners. All of whom have an excellent attention to detail and take pride in their work.

This service is highly in demand. So, if it is something you would like, let us know as soon as you place your order.

Health and safety policies and regulations insist that our joiners must wear appropriate footwear. Particularly when assembling furniture. So, we regret that staff will be unable to remove their shoes while working on site. Though, some customers choose to provide a protective floor covering.
