Providing high quality and durable products has always been one of our primary objectives. Every product we produce is carefully and proudly crafted at our onsite UK manufacturing facility based in the North West of England.

We are proud to be a sustainable UK based manufacturing company, for many reasons:

Supporting Skills and Crafts

Supporting Britain is important to us. We believe in loyalty to our staff, and encourage them to take pride in their skills and their ability to create and design quality products, time and time again for our customers. Many members of our team have been making furniture for us for over 30 years, it’s a skill that takes patience and requires a great amount of attention to detail. As our manufacturing facility has been based in the UK since our business first started, it’s meant that our staff have been able to grow with us, thus perfecting our manufacturing technique down to a fine art.

Streamline Processes and Systems

Having our manufacturing facility based in the UK and onsite, means that we can easily communicate with management, suppliers and manufacturers during every step of the project. We are proud to have all of our furniture carefully made by our skilled craftsmen. Although manufacturing in the UK is costly in comparison, it means that no corners are cut when it comes to quality. Unfortunately, there are products on the market that are manufactured outside of the UK – although cheap to manufacture some of these items are extremely low quality and may not be beneficial in the long term.

Manufacturing in the UK means that we can keep a close eye on the materials being used for products, and also work with our staff and suppliers to come up with new ways of making our furniture as durable as possible for each project.

Encouraging a Quality Environmental Policy

We have carefully sourced only the highest quality of hardwood for our products, meaning that our furniture is durable, practical and is fit for purpose. The average lifespan of our furniture in continuous use is 15-20 years.

We adopt an environmental policy with the materials we use which is committed to sustainable forest management; the hardwood we source conforms to the FSC Chain of Custody relating to processes and products for hardwood sustainability. Sourcing our materials from companies within the UK also means we don’t have to transport goods from far and wide, reducing carbon emissions greatly.
